Scout Conference

Interventions: Ignite is Northeastern Scout’s sixth annual one-day design experience where new ideas come ablaze. Through a series of presentations, panels, and workshops, we seek to illuminate our hidden potential while burning away rigid approaches to design. We strive to surpass existing expectations, kindling connections and breakthroughs in our practice. Interventions: Ignite is a showcase that will spark passion, connection, and discovery among creatives new and seasoned.

Interventions: Amplify is Scout’s fifth annual design conference at Northeastern University. This year’s conference is all about creatives, advocates, and organizations that work to lift up marginalized groups and underrepresented voices through impactful design. From pushing the boundaries on how design can shape information to using design as a tool to advocate for social change in our communities – everyone in attendance will walk away with new perspectives on the role they play as an influential creator and activist through design.

Interventions: Disrupt is a showcase of design thinking as a driving force for social change. Our conference unites design-thinking leaders across industries and disciplines to explore design's role in creating spaces of inclusion, activism, and community. With a series of presentations, panels, and workshops, our speakers share what inspires them to remain steadfastly committed to positive change in the face of an uncertain world.
